ASSOCIATION OF SURGEONS NAGPUR 2020-21 INSTALLATION CEREMONY AND NEW YEAR MILAN 2021.
ASN held its installation ceremony of Dr Vikram Desai as President of ASN 2020-21 and his team of office bearers on Sunday, 17th January 2021 at The Backyards, Nagpur. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr Dilip Gode, Ex President ASI and AMASI and VC, DMIMS and presently Dean, Shalinitai Meghe Medical College, Nagpur and Guest of Honor Dr Ajay Kevaliya, Dean, IGGMC, Nagpur. Ceremony started with an address by outgoing President, Dr TRV Wilkinson. Dr Rajiv Sonarkar, outgoing Secretary, presented his yearly report. Dr Wilkinson welcomed Dr Vikram Desai as incoming President of ASN. Dr Dhannjay Kane gave a brief introduction of Dr Vikram Desai. Dr Vikram Desai gave his acceptance speech. Dr Dilip ode and Dr Ajay Kevaliya gave their speeches. Winners of ASN quiz 2020 teams were awarded the trophies. Dr Atish Bansod, Hon. Secretary proposed a vote of thanks. MOC was Dr Prasad Bansod. This event was followed by New year Milan in which ASN members along with their families enjoyed the entertainment activities arranged Mr and Mrs Butani followed by dinner.

12 to 15 Upper GI Endoscopies will be demonstrated by the faculties in variety of patients, with one to one interaction with the faculties online along with tips, tricks and troubleshooting in Gastroscopies.

ASSOCIATION OF SURGEONS NAGPUR 2ND LIVE ONLINE SURGERY WORKSHOP OF VENTRAL AND INGUINAL HERNIA.
Association of Surgeons Nagpur and Viveka Hospital, Nagpur conducted Online live Ventral and Inguinal Hernia Surgery workshop on Sunday,
17th January 2021 from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm on Zoom.

Dr Vikram Alsi and Dr Nilesh Manthankar provided anaesthesia backup. Viveka Hospital,

Cases demonstrated live in the workshop were – Lap Retrorectus repair of Ventral Hernia,
Lap TEP, Lap TAPP, Lichenstein”s repair and Desardas repair.
Live surgeries were enjoyed by 200 plus Surgeons fromNagpur and Vidarbha.
